SMIBA -Buenos
Aires Society of Internal Medicine
The society was created in 1919 as a
proposal of the Argentine Medical
Association, and has been leaded ever since
by the most prestigious physicians of
Argentina. Since the beginning its main
mission has been to be a bridge between
physicians and the last developments of the
medical specialties. SMIBA has 2,000
physicians, one of the largest medical
association enrollments in the nation.
The society offers a diversity of services
in order to give its associates the
opportunity to be updated in their
